So will God really dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You! How much less this House that I have built!


Are Your days like those of a mortal, or Your years like those of a strong man,


Indeed, these are but glimpses of His ways; how faint the whisper, we hear of Him! Who then can understand the thunder of His might?”


All mankind has seen it; people gaze on it from afar.


For He draws up the drops of water; they distill rain into its mist,


Shaddai, we cannot find Him! He is great in power and justice, and abundant righteousness He does not oppress.


God thunders wondrously with His voice; He does great things beyond our comprehension.


Great is Adonai, and greatly to be praised —His greatness is unsearchable.


Before the mountains were born, or You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God!


For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known.


And like a robe You will roll them up, and like clothing they will be changed; but You are the same, and Your years shall never end.”


But don’t forget this one thing, loved ones, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.
