“Moreover Adonai will raise up for Himself a king over Israel who will cut off the house of Jeroboam that day. So now, what else?


He leads priests away stripped and overthrows the rulers.


“How long will you torment my soul and crush me with words?


You shall break the nations with an iron scepter. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s jar.”


May he vindicate the poor of the people, save the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor.


They crush Your people, Adonai, and afflict Your heritage.


He will then turn his face toward the strongholds of his own land, but he will stumble and fall, not to be found again.


He changes times and seasons. He removes kings and installs kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.


“If a man lies sexually with a woman who is a slave girl, pledged to be married to another man, but not ransomed or given her freedom, they are both to be punished. But they are not to be put to death, because she was not free.
