You overpower him—once for all, and he perishes; You change his appearance and send him away.


He only feels pain for his own flesh, and mourns for his own soul.”


You have seized me— it has become a witness; my leanness rises against me and testifies to my face.


My bones cling to my skin and my flesh; I have escaped only by the skin of my teeth.


My flesh is clothed with maggots and clods of dirt; My skin is broken and festering.


Remove Your scourge from me. I perish by the blow of Your hand.
