There the wicked cease from turmoil, and there the weary are at rest.


Let them flow away like water that runs off. When he bends his bow, let the arrows be cut off.


Like a slug melting away as it slithers, like a woman’s miscarriage, may they never see the sun.


Yet better than both is one who has not yet been, who has never seen the evil work that is done under the sun.
