The men were amazed, saying, “What kind of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!”


Everyone who heard pondered these things in their hearts, saying, “What then will this child become?” For the hand of Adonai was on him.


Now when the Pharisee who invited Him saw this, he said to himself, “If this were a prophet, He would know what sort of woman is touching Him—that she’s a sinner.”


because our Good News did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Ruach ha-Kodesh and with complete certainty—just as you know what kind of men we proved to be while among you for your sake.


For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror—


But the one who looks intently into the perfect Torah, the Torah that gives freedom, and continues in it, not becoming a hearer who forgets but a doer who acts—he shall be blessed in what he does.


Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people should you be? Live your lives in holiness and godliness,
