Now Cush fathered Nimrod. He started to become mighty in the land.


The name of the first is Pishon, the one that winds around the whole land of the Havilah, where there is gold.


The gold of that land is good—bdellium and lapis lazuli stones are also there.


The name of the third river is Tigris—it runs east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.


It will also come about in that day that my Lord will again redeem— a second time with His hand— the remnant of His people who remain from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
