He built the inner court with three rows of cut stone and a row of cedar beams.


On that same day, the king consecrated the middle of the court that was before the House of Adonai, for there he offered the burnt offering and the grain offering and the fat of the fellowship offerings, because the bronze altar that was before Adonai was too small to accommodate the burnt offering, the grain offering and the fat of the fellowship offerings.


He also built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courtyards of the House of Adonai.


Then he made the courtyard of the kohanim and the great courtyard and doors for the courtyard. He overlaid the doors with bronze.

Outside the inner gate in the inner court were chambers for the singers, one of which was at the side of the north gate, facing south. The one at the side of the east gate faced north.


Opposite the 20 cubit space belonging to the inner court and opposite the pavement belonging to the outer court was gallery by gallery in three stories.
