So they provoked Him with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them.
So they defiled themselves by their deeds, and prostituted themselves by their practices.
Adonai our God, You answered them. A forgiving God You were to them, though You avenged their misdeeds.

You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you.
