“You, whose clothes are hot, when the earth is still, because of the south wind,


Out of its chamber comes the storm, and icy cold from the driving wind.


For He spoke and raised a stormy wind, lifting up towering waves.


He stilled the storm to a whisper— the waves were hushed.


All the rivers flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place where the rivers flow, there they go again.


Just as you do not know how the spirit passes into the bones in the womb of a pregnant woman, so you do not know the work of God who makes all things.


Then Adonai hurled a forceful wind into the sea and there was such a mighty storm on the sea that the ship was about to shatter.


“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.


And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”


The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
