Deuteronomy 24:11 - Tree of Life Version

You are to stand outside, and the man to whom you are making the loan is to bring the pledge outside to you.

Thou shalt stand abroad, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring out the pledge abroad unto thee.

You shall stand outside and the man to whom you lend shall bring the pledge out to you.

Thou shalt stand without, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring forth the pledge without unto thee.

You must wait outside. The person to whom you are lending will bring the collateral to you out there.

Instead, you shall stand outside, and he will carry out to you what he has.

But then shalt stand without: and he shall bring out to thee what he hath.

Without clothing they spend the night naked, without covering against the cold.

“When you make any kind of loan to your neighbor, you are not to go into his house to get his pledge.

If he is a poor man, you are not to sleep with his pledge .
