Now the whole group of those who believed was one in heart and mind. No one would say anything he owned was his own, but they had everything in common.


He sold a field that he owned and brought the money and laid it at the feet of the emissaries.


He kept back some of the proceeds, with his wife’s full knowledge, and brought part of it and set it at the feet of the emissaries.


While it remained unsold, it was your own, wasn’t it? And after it was sold, wasn’t it at your disposal? How did this deed get into your heart? You haven’t lied to men but to God.”


For you know the grace of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah—that even though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that through His poverty you might become rich.
