Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, immersing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Ruach ha-Kodesh,


But they passed on from Perga and came to Antioch of Pisidia. Entering the synagogue on the Shabbat, they sat down.


But Paul and Barnabas shook the dust off their feet against them, and they went on to Iconium.


Now in Iconium, the same thing happened—they entered as usual into the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a large number of Jewish and Greek people believed.


and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We too are human, just like you! We proclaim the Good News to you, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them.


But Jewish people came from Antioch and Iconium; and after they won the crowd over and stoned Paul, they were dragging him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.


From there they sailed back to Antioch (where they had been entrusted to the gracious care of God for the work now completed).


But they found out about it and fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra and Derbe and the surrounding countryside.


There they proclaimed the Good News.


Now a man was sitting in Lystra without strength in his feet, lame from birth, who had never walked.


After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s return and visit the brothers and sisters in every city where we have proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are.”


who was well-spoken of by the brothers at Lystra and Iconium.


praising God and having favor with all the people. And every day the Lord was adding to their number those being saved.


as well as persecutions and sufferings that happened to me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. What persecutions I endured! And the Lord rescued me from them all!
