They have melted down the silver that was found in the House of Adonai and handed it over to the overseers and into the hand of the workmen.”


When the king heard the words of the Torah, he tore his clothes.


I will speak of Your testimonies before kings, and never be ashamed.


It will remain with him, and he will read in it all the days of his life, in order to learn to fear Adonai his God and keep all the words of this Torah and these statutes.


This book of the Torah should not depart from your mouth—you are to meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. For then you will make your ways prosperous and then you will be successful.
