He commanded Judah to seek Adonai, the God of their fathers, and to obey the Torah and the mitzvah.


Though the high places were not removed from Israel, still Asa’s heart was completely committed to Adonai all his days.


His heart was devoted to the ways of Adonai. Furthermore he removed the high places and the Asherah poles from Judah.
