After three days they found Him in the Temple, sitting in the center of the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.


Now some men coming down from Judea were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”


Claiming to be wise, they became fools.


I want to find out just one thing from you: did you receive the Ruach by deeds based on Torah, or by hearing based on trust?


So then, the One who gives you the Ruach and works miracles among you—does He do it because of your deeds based on Torah or your hearing based on trust and faithfulness?


Tell me, you who want to be under Torah, don’t you understand the Torah?


he is prideful, understanding nothing. Instead he is obsessed with arguments and disputes about words—out of which come envy, strife, slander, evil suspicions,


always learning yet never able to come to the knowledge of truth.


Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers and sisters, since you know that we will receive a stricter judgment.


But these people are like irrational animals—creatures of instinct born to be captured and killed. They malign what they don’t understand, and in their destruction they will be utterly destroyed.
