Don’t work for food that spoils, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on Him, God the Father has put the seal of approval.”


For if your brother is grieved on account of food, you are no longer walking according to love. Do not destroy by your food the one for whom Messiah died.


just as I also try to please everyone in everything, not seeking my own benefit but the benefit of many, so that they may be saved.


For this reason, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat again, so that I do not cause my brother to stumble.


Therefore concerning the eating of idol sacrifices, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no God but one.
