Then whenever I arrive, I will send whomever you approve with letters of introduction to carry your gift to Jerusalem.

And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.

And when I arrive, I will send on those whom you approve and authorize with credentials to carry your gift [of charity] to Jerusalem.

Then when I get there, I’ll send whomever you approve to Jerusalem with letters of recommendation to bring your gift.

And when I shall be with you, whomsoever you shall approve by letters, them will I send to carry your grace to Jerusalem.

If anyone is hungry let him eat at home, so that when you meet it doesn’t lead to judgment. And the rest I will put in order when I come.

If it is advisable for me to go also, they will go with me.

Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you or from you?
