But if He says thus, ‘I have no delight in you,’ here I am, let Him do to me as seems good in His eyes.”


He said: “If the Arameans are too strong for me, then you will help me, but if the Ammonites are too strong for you, then I will help you.


So Joab and the people who were with him advanced to battle against the Arameans, and they fled before him.


Arise! For this matter concerns you. We are with you, so be strong and do it!”

Through all this, Job did not sin nor did he cast reproach on God.


Wait for Adonai. Be strong, let Your heart take courage, and wait for Adonai.


Be on the alert! Stand firm in the faith! Be men of courage! Be strong!
