Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”
And now go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead. And behold, he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him. Listen to what I have told you.”
However, after I have been raised up, I will go ahead of you to Galilee.”
These women had followed Jesus and provided for him when he was in Galilee. There were also many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem.
Later Jesus appeared to the eleven as they were reclining at the table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen him after he had risen.
And now go tell his disciples and Peter that he is going ahead of you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.”
Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve? And yet one of you is a devil.”
We are even found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified against God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if indeed the dead are not raised.
