He said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to the point of death; stay here and keep watch.”

and saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

And He said to them, My soul is exceedingly sad (overwhelmed with grief) so that it almost kills Me! Remain here and keep awake and be watching.

And he saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful even unto death: abide ye here, and watch.

He said to them, “I’m very sad. It’s as if I’m dying. Stay here and keep alert.”

And he said to them: "My soul is sorrowful, even unto death. Remain here and be vigilant."

And he saith to them: My soul is sorrowful even unto death; stay you here, and watch.

Then Jesus said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to the point of death; stay here and keep watch with me.”

“My soul is now troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it is for this reason that I have come to this hour.

The end of all things has drawn near. Therefore be alert and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

Be sober-minded and watchful; your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
