“The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then the good news of the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone tries to force his way into it.


And beginning from Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them the things written about himself in all the Scriptures.


The scroll of Isaiah the prophet was handed to him, so he unrolled the scroll and found the place where it is written,


For from generations of old, Moses has had those who preach him in every city, because he is read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
