For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because they have cast down our dwellings.


Thus saith the Lord GOD Because they say unto you, Thou land art a devourer of men, and hast been a bereaver of thy nation;


Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her separation.


And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land vomiteth out her inhabitants.


(for all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)


For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.


Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgements, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, vomit you not out.


For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.


So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
