And Haman recounted unto them the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children, and all the things wherein the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.


He believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, And he is waited for of the sword:


He shall have neither son nor son's son among his people, Nor any remaining where he sojourned.


His children shall seek the favour of the poor, And his hands shall give back his wealth.


The old lion perisheth for lack of prey, And the whelps of the lioness are scattered abroad


Let his children be vagabonds, and beg; And let them seek their bread out of their desolate places.


Let his posterity be cut off; In the generation following let their name be blotted out.


For behold, the days are coming, in which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the breasts that never gave suck.


Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day: and there shall be nought in the power of thine hand.


Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but they shall not be thine; for they shall go into captivity.


They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry have ceased: yea, the barren hath borne seven; and she that hath many children languisheth.
