Have ye not asked them that go by the way? And do ye not know their tokens?
Have ye not asked them that go by the way? And do ye not know their tokens,
Have you not asked those who travel this way, and do you not accept their testimony and evidences–
Have ye not asked wayfaring men? And do ye not know their evidences,
Haven’t you asked travelers or paid attention to their reports?
Ask any passerby whom you wish, and you will realize that he understands these same things:
Ask any one of them that go by the way: and you shall perceive that he knoweth these same things.
For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? And where is the tent wherein the wicked dwelt?
That the evil man is reserved to the day of calamity? That they are led forth to the day of wrath?
Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you; We bless you in the name of the LORD.
