And David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done perversely: but these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father's house.


These ten times have ye reproached me: Ye are not ashamed that ye deal hardly with me.


If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, And plead against me my reproach:


If thou art wise, thou art wise for thyself: And if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.


Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.


For we must all be made manifest before the judgement-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad.


For each man shall bear his own burden.
