Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness; Thou hast set me at large when I was in distress: Have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.


God, even God, the LORD, hath spoken, And called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.


Save me, O God, by thy name, And judge me in thy might.


Hear my cry, O God; Attend unto my prayer.


God be merciful unto us, and bless us, And cause his face to shine upon us; Selah


Therefore I make a decree, that every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dung-hill: because there is no other god that is able to deliver after this sort.


For as I passed along, and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, TO AN UNKNOWN GOD What therefore ye worship in ignorance, this set I forth unto you.
