How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!


Therefore I love thy commandments Above gold, yea, above fine gold.


The law of thy mouth is better unto me Than thousands of gold and silver. י JOD


More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.


How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! Yea, to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver.


There is gold, and abundance of rubies: But the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.


A virtuous woman who can find? For her price is far above rubies.


Wisdom is as good as an inheritance: yea, more excellent is it for them that see the sun.


For what shall a man be profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? or what shall a man give in exchange for his life?


Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?
