Which are black by reason of the ice, And wherein the snow hideth itself:
Which are blackish by reason of the ice, And wherein the snow is hid:
Which are black and turbid by reason of the ice, and in which the snows hides itself;
like those darkened by thawing ice, in which snow is obscured
Those who fear frost, snow will rush over them.
They that fear the hoar frost, the snow shall fall upon them.
Drought and heat consume the snow waters: So doth Sheol those which have sinned.
Hast thou entered the treasuries of the snow, Or hast thou seen the treasuries of the hail,
Out of whose womb came the ice? And the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
My brethren have dealt deceitfully as a brook, As the channel of brooks that pass away;
What time they wax warm, they vanish: When it is hot, they are consumed out of their place.
He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: He causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
