Fear came upon me, and trembling, Which made all my bones to shake


It stood still, but I could not discern the appearance thereof; A form was before mine eyes: There was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,


Who maketh winds his messengers; His ministers a flaming fire:


and they shall be dismayed; pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman in travail: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be faces of flame.


And he said unto me, O Daniel, thou man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright; for unto thee am I now sent: and when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.


Then the king's countenance was changed in him, and his thoughts troubled him; and the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another.


And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is an apparition; and they cried out for fear.


Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to do service for the sake of them that shall inherit salvation?


And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels winds, And his ministers a flame of fire:
