I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; Shew me wherefore thou contendest with me.
Although thou knowest that I am not wicked; And there is none that can deliver out of thine hand?
Though he slay me, yet will I wait for him: Nevertheless I will maintain my ways before him.
For thine iniquity teacheth thy mouth, And thou choosest the tongue of the crafty.
Is not thy wickedness great? Neither is there any end to thine iniquities.
There the upright might reason with him; So should I be delivered for ever from my judge
Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, And I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
I am clean, without transgression; I am innocent, neither is there iniquity in me:
Wilt thou even disannul my judgement? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?
Return, I pray you, let there be no injustice; Yea, return again, my cause is righteous.
