That is why his faith was “reckoned to him as righteousness.”
And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
That is why his faith was credited to him as righteousness (right standing with God).
Wherefore also it was reckoned unto him for righteousness.
Therefore, it was credited to him as righteousness.
And for this reason, it was reputed to him unto justice.
And therefore it was reputed to him unto justice.
And he believed the Lord; and he reckoned it to him as righteousness.
For what does the scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.”
So also David pronounces a blessing upon the man to whom God reckons righteousness apart from works:
