and the way of peace they do not know.”
And the way of peace have they not known:
And they have no experience of the way of peace [they know nothing about peace, for a peaceful way they do not even recognize]. [Isa. 59:7, 8.]
“and they don’t know the way of peace.”

The way of peace they know not, and there is no justice in their paths; they have made their roads crooked, no one who goes in them knows peace.
For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
in their paths are ruin and misery,
“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
