For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures for ever, and his faithfulness to all generations.


The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.


Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; our God is merciful.


But thou, O Lord, art a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.


For thou, O Lord, art good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on thee.


To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness; because we have rebelled against him,
