Thy testimonies are my heritage for ever; yea, they are the joy of my heart.


Let thy hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen thy precepts.


Thy testimonies are my delight, they are my counselors.


Put false ways far from me; and graciously teach me thy law!


When I think of thy ordinances from of old, I take comfort, O Lord.


For all his ordinances were before me, and his statutes I did not put away from me.


I was blameless before him, and I kept myself from guilt.


Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord,


one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her.”


But, because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.


And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart;


And if you be unwilling to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”


Like newborn babes, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up to salvation;


I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children following the truth, just as we have been commanded by the Father.
