And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy!


With my lips I declare all the ordinances of thy mouth.


One generation shall laud thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.


I have not hid thy saving help within my heart, I have spoken of thy faithfulness and thy salvation; I have not concealed thy steadfast love and thy faithfulness from the great congregation.


Thou hast multiplied, O Lord my God, thy wondrous deeds and thy thoughts toward us; none can compare with thee! Were I to proclaim and tell of them, they would be more than can be numbered.


For in death there is no remembrance of thee; in Sheol who can give thee praise?


But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all thy works.


The Lord has brought forth our vindication; come, let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God.


Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O Lord, thou hast ordained them as a judgment; and thou, O Rock, hast established them for chastisement.


But when Jesus heard it he said, “This illness is not unto death; it is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by means of it.”
