O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures for ever!


With them were Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen and expressly named to give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures for ever.


And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy array, as they went before the army, and say, “Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures for ever.”


and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord), and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures for ever,” the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud,

But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear him, and his righteousness to children's children,


O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name, make known his deeds among the peoples!

Thou art good and doest good; teach me thy statutes.


And he said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? One there is who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.”


And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation.
