Without having any chief, officer or ruler,

Tuilleadh leaganacha

Which having no guide, Overseer, or ruler,

Which, having no chief, overseer, or ruler,

Which having no chief, Overseer, or ruler,

The ant has no commander, officer, or ruler.

For though she has no ruler, nor instructor, nor leader,

Which, although she hath no guide, nor master, nor captain,

“Can you hunt the prey for the lion, or satisfy the appetite of the young lions,

the locusts have no king, yet all of them march in rank;

she prepares her food in summer, and gathers her sustenance in harvest.
