Mark the blameless man, and behold the upright, for there is posterity for the man of peace.
There are many who say, “O that we might see some good! Lift up the light of thy countenance upon us, O Lord!”
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my help
for not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm give them victory; but thy right hand, and thy arm, and the light of thy countenance; for thou didst delight in them.
Blessed are the people who know the festal shout, who walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance,
O Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us, thou hast wrought for us all our works.
Thou dost keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in thee.
Peace, peace, to the far and to the near, says the Lord; and I will heal him.
And this shall be peace, when the Assyrian comes into our land and treads upon our soil, that we will raise against him seven shepherds and eight princes of men;

Eight days later, his disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them. The doors were shut, but Jesus came and stood among them, and said, “Peace be with you.”
You know the word which he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace by Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all),
Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou wilt make me full of gladness with thy presence.’
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.
