David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” And Nathan said to David, “The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die.


But God was displeased with this thing, and he smote Israel.


When he slew them, they sought for him; they repented and sought God earnestly.


Then Pharaoh sent, and called Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “I have sinned this time; the Lord is in the right, and I and my people are in the wrong.


lest the Lord see it, and be displeased, and turn away his anger from him.
