And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.


and wherever it seizes him, it dashes him down; and he foams and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid; and I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they were not able.”


And he answered them, “O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me.”


And Jesus asked his father, “How long has he had this?” And he said, “From childhood.


And after crying out and convulsing him terribly, it came out, and the boy was like a corpse; so that most of them said, “He is dead.”


But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm.


For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. (For many a time it had seized him; he was kept under guard, and bound with chains and fetters, but he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the desert.)


and behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out; it convulses him till he foams, and shatters him, and will hardly leave him.


While he was coming, the demon tore him and convulsed him. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.


You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.


Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour.
