And he went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every infirmity among the people.
And immediately he called them; and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and followed him.
And immediately he left the synagogue, and entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
And he went throughout all Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and casting out demons.
And he left there and went to the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan, and crowds gathered to him again; and again, as his custom was, he taught them.
And when he returned to Caperna-um after some days, it was reported that he was at home.
Again he entered the synagogue, and a man was there who had a withered hand.
And on the sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue; and many who heard him were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get all this? What is the wisdom given to him? What mighty works are wrought by his hands!
And you, Caperna-um, will you be exalted to heaven? You shall be brought down to Hades.
And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up; and he went to the synagogue, as his custom was, on the sabbath day. And he stood up to read;
And he said to them, “Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb, ‘Physician, heal yourself; what we have heard you did at Caperna-um, do here also in your own country.’ ”
And Paul went in, as was his custom, and for three weeks he argued with them from the scriptures,
And he argued in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded Jews and Greeks.
