Thou meetest him that joyfully works righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways. Behold, thou wast angry, and we sinned; in our sins we have been a long time, and shall we be saved?


And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down; for I must stay at your house today.”


And when they saw it they all murmured, “He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.”


And they went with haste, and found Mary and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.


And Levi made him a great feast in his house; and there was a large company of tax collectors and others sitting at table with them.


And when she was baptized, with her household, she besought us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us.


Then he brought them up into his house, and set food before them; and he rejoiced with all his household that he had believed in God.


So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.
