And if I lift myself up, thou dost hunt me like a lion, and again work wonders against me;


“Lo, my eye has seen all this, my ear has heard and understood it.


“Hear this, O Job; stop and consider the wondrous works of God.


Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge,


God thunders wondrously with his voice; he does great things which we cannot comprehend.


‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.

If I would count them, they are more than the sand. When I awake, I am still with thee.


Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.


Thou hast multiplied, O Lord my God, thy wondrous deeds and thy thoughts toward us; none can compare with thee! Were I to proclaim and tell of them, they would be more than can be numbered.


Sacrifice and offering thou dost not desire; but thou hast given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering thou hast not required.


Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.


For thou art great and doest wondrous things, thou alone art God.


He has made everything beautiful in its time; also he has put eternity into man's mind, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.


Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary, his understanding is unsearchable.


O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
