Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
thou didst let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet thou hast brought us forth to a spacious place.
When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him.
for a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again; but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.
There are six things which the Lord hates, seven which are an abomination to him:
When you pass through the waters I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
But I will deliver you on that day, says the Lord, and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid.
