Does it seem good to thee to oppress, to despise the work of thy hands and favor the designs of the wicked?
Thy hands fashioned and made me; and now thou dost turn about and destroy me.
Then call, and I will answer; or let me speak, and do thou reply to me.
If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my service I would wait, till my release should come.
Why dost thou not pardon my transgression and take away my iniquity? For now I shall lie in the earth; thou wilt seek me, but I shall not be.”
The Lord will fulfil his purpose for me; thy steadfast love, O Lord, endures for ever. Do not forsake the work of thy hands.
then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will do right and entrust their souls to a faithful Creator.
