Deuteronomy 29:15

I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for their own good and the good of their children after them.


They shall ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, saying, ‘Come, let us join ourselves to the Lord in an everlasting covenant which will never be forgotten.’


For the promise is to you and to your children and to all that are far off, every one whom the Lord our God calls to him.”


For the unbelieving husband is consecrated through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is consecrated through her husband. Otherwise, your children would be unclean, but as it is they are holy.


“You know how we dwelt in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed;


Not with our fathers did the Lord make this covenant, but with us, who are all of us here alive this day.
