“You shall have a place outside the camp and you shall go out to it;
Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:

The latrines must be outside the camp. You will use them there, outside the camp.
You shall have a place beyond the camp to which you may go for the necessities of nature,

“And if a man has an emission of semen, he shall bathe his whole body in water, and be unclean until the evening.
but when evening comes on, he shall bathe himself in water, and when the sun is down, he may come within the camp.
and you shall have a stick with your weapons; and when you sit down outside, you shall dig a hole with it, and turn back and cover up your excrement.
