if they repent with all their mind and with all their heart in the land of their enemies, who carried them captive, and pray to thee toward their land, which thou gavest to their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name;


he lurks in secret like a lion in his covert; he lurks that he may seize the poor, he seizes the poor when he draws him into his net.


Seven times a day I praise thee for thy righteous ordinances.


Hear the voice of my supplication, as I cry to thee for help, as I lift up my hands towards thy most holy sanctuary.


“You that have escaped from the sword, go, stand not still! Remember the Lord from afar, and let Jerusalem come into your mind:
