The wicked man sees it and is angry; he gnashes his teeth and melts away; the desire of the wicked man comes to naught.
For insolent men have risen against me, ruthless men seek my life; they do not set God before them. Selah
The desire of the righteous ends only in good; the expectation of the wicked in wrath.
Lie not in wait as a wicked man against the dwelling of the righteous; do not violence to his home;
Many seek the favor of a ruler, but from the Lord a man gets justice.
“And if a Levite comes from any of your towns out of all Israel, where he lives—and he may come when he desires—to the place which the Lord will choose,
Then said David, “Will the men of Keilah surrender me and my men into the hand of Saul?” And the Lord said, “They will surrender you.”
And Saul said, “May you be blessed by the Lord; for you have had compassion on me.
