“I am about to go the way of all the earth. Be strong, and show yourself a man,
Then you will prosper if you are careful to observe the statutes and the ordinances which the Lord commanded Moses for Israel. Be strong, and of good courage. Fear not; be not dismayed.
Then David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it. Fear not, be not dismayed; for the Lord God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished.
He said to me, ‘It is Solomon your son who shall build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
Arise, for it is your task, and we are with you; be strong and do it.”
Take heed to yourself and to your teaching; hold to that, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.
